The **Retail Sales Associate** is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily retail operations of the Meg Braff Design West Palm Beach showroom. This role assists customers with merchandise, furniture, accessories, wallpaper, and fabric while helping ensure the showroom is welcoming, organized, and beautifully presented. Saturdays required

The position requires a polished, personable, and dependable individual who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in interior design and home furnishings, and is willing to assist with  the varied needs of a busy showroom.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Provide attentive and knowledgeable customer service throughout the sales process.
• Assist customers with retail merchandise, furniture, accessories, wallpaper, and fabric.
• Process retail sales and customer transactions accurately.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
• Assist with wallpaper and fabric samples, pricing, and customer follow-up.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented showroom.
• Restock merchandise and help maintain showroom displays.
• Receive, unpack, tag, and organize incoming merchandise.
• Assist with inventory and communicate restocking needs.
• Help prepare the showroom for opening and closing.
• Assist with seasonal merchandising and showroom changes.
• Support special events, including setup, customer assistance, and cleanup.
• Coordinate with the design, administrative, and marketing teams as needed.
• Assist with Saturday and seasonal showroom coverage.
• Perform additional retail and showroom responsibilities as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Prior retail, showroom, luxury retail, interior design, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Organized and attentive to detail.
• Comfortable learning basic computer and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning well as part of a small team.
• Interest in interior design, furnishings, fabrics, wallpaper, and the Meg Braff Design aesthetic is a plus.
• Willingness to assist wherever needed in a busy showroom environment.
  
  
  Schedule will be based on showroom needs and may include **Saturdays, seasonal coverage, and additional hours surrounding special events**.
