Meg Braff Designs, LLC is seeking a West Palm Beach based Junior Design Assistant to support the design team and principal. This position will assist in preparing design schemes and client presentations, generating CAD drawings including furniture floor plans, elevations, and lighting plans, expediting as needed, creating Excel spreadsheet budgets and schedules, and managing the sample library. The role also supports our shop/showroom located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The junior design assistant will assist the principal and design assistants in a variety of ways, including collecting and recording daily time billing, taking notes during client meetings, and keeping on task with meetings and deliverables. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and passionate about the design process. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• College degree in interior design required
• Proficiency with AutoCad and interior design software such as Design Manager
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel,Word, Powerpoint)
• Knowledge of to-the-trade design showrooms, manufactures and resources
• Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate in a professional manner
• Creative, team player, hard working, passionate, dedicated, and a positive attitude is a must!
