Refund policy

TERMS OF SALE
All sales are final. In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, returns are accepted on eligible items for store credit only within 14 business days of the invoice date, and must be accompanied by a receipt. Credit is good for one year from the date of issue. All packaging must remain intact and must be documented for shipping insurance claims. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. To initiate a return of any item that arrives damaged, please contact us at info@megbraffdesigns.com. Returns, exchanges, and cancellations are not accepted on special orders.

The following items are not eligible for return: Fine Art, Soft Goods (lampshades, pillows, throws), Furniture and Accessories by The Lacquer Company, Antiques, Vintage Furniture, Sale Items.

ITEMS ON APPROVAL
Items can be taken on approval for a maximum of 48 hours. A credit card must be placed on file, and will not be charged during the 48 hour approval period. Once the 48 hour approval period has expired and we have not heard back from the customer, the card on file will be charged for the full amount of the product(s) with a 4% Credit Card Surcharge. If items returned are not in their original condition, the credit card on file will be charged for the full amount plus the 4% Credit Card Surcharge.

Items on approval are not to be removed from the state that they are taken on approval from. If requested, we can assist with arranging a mover to deliver items on approval. The customer is responsible for the full shipping cost, both to the customer and back to the original MBD location which it was taken from (in the event the customer decides to not move forward with the pieces on approval).

We reserve the right to decline having any item repaired.

We do not loan or rent items for photoshoots, with special exceptions.

WALLPAPER & FABRIC ORDERS
Please carefully inspect all wallcovering for possible defects. If the wallcovering is found to be defective in any way, do not hang. We will replace or issue credit for any defective rollage but we cannot be held responsible for any wallpaper hanging labor charges or claims.

All wallpaper & fabric orders must be inspected within 5 days of the delivered date.

SHIPPING QUOTE DECLINED
For vintage furniture and decor purchases that require a shipping quote, if you decline the shipping quote within the 3-business-day approval window, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price at no additional charge. This applies only to orders where a shipping quote has been requested and declined, and does not modify the all-sales-final policy above.
